Meet my eyes

Hello. My name is Josh, and I'm currently undergoing vision therapy to correct my strabismus, or misalignment of the eyes. I was inspired by Stereo Sue to pursue vision therapy, and I wanted to share my story.

Meet my eyes!

The one on the right (your left) is looking forward, while the one on the left (your right) is wandering outward.

I can also switch them so that the left is pointing ahead and the right is pointing outward, but I'll let you use your imagination.

More to come later...

  1. It's a pleasure to meet your eyes! I, too, was recently inspired by Stereo Sue and have *just* begun my vision therapy journey (and my own blog):

Minutes ago, I read about your blog at Dr. L. Press's blog:

I'm excited to read the many blog posts you've posted about your therapy sessions, and I will follow your journey to aligned eyes and 3D vision.

    Best wishes from Sally

  2. have just found your Blog. It is fascinating and so well written. So clear. So thank you. My son is 7 and they refuse to operate on his Esotropia. I will read all your blog, asap, and try to take it all in. Then I may very well try and find a Vision therapist, such as yours. Do you have any suggestions as to how I find a good one. Where are you, in the country? We are Surrey. Any advice gratefully received.

  3. Josh, thank you for posting this. I am an eye doctor that does vision therapy and it is not only incredibly accurate, but simply explained! There is nothing like hearing about VT from another patient who can actually explain how it feels.

  4. I agree with tinyshoes! I'm a 21 year old graduate student who also recently started VT, but was never diagnosed with strabismus as a child.
